TESTING

We offer a variety of testing using state-of-the-art equipment and technology to evaluate your eye health and help determine what treatments and procedures are best for you. This testing includes:

Orbscan Corneal Topography: a type of diagnostic imaging technique that assesses the shape and contour of the cornea, which is the clear, front surface of the eye. This technology provides information about the curvature, thickness, and elevation of the cornea, which is crucial for evaluating various eye conditions and planning surgical procedures, particularly those related to refractive surgery.

Humphrey Visual Field: a medical device used to assess and measure a person’s field of vision. This instrument is often used to diagnose and monitor eye conditions and diseases that affect peripheral vision.

MAIA Microperimeter: a medical device used to evaluate the function of the retina and assess visual sensitivity. This sophisticated technology helps diagnose and monitor retinal diseases, such as AMD and other conditions that affect the central part of the retina.

Optos Optomap: a medical imaging device used to capture high-resolution images of the retina. This advanced technology allows us to obtain detailed and comprehensive images of the retina without having to dilate the pupils.

Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) with Angiography: an advanced imaging technique used to assess the microvasculature (tiny blood vessels) in the retina and other structures of the eye. It combines two powerful imaging technologies — Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) and Angiography — to provide incredibly detailed structural and vascular information and help assess and diagnose retina diseases.

Zeiss IOL Master: a specialized medical device used to measure the power of intraocular lenses (IOLs) before cataract surgery or other lens exchange procedures. Accurate IOL power calculations are essential to achieve the desired post-surgical refractive outcomes

Handheld Pachymetry & Biometry: two separate but related diagnostic techniques used to measure the parameters of the eye, including corneal thickness and eye dimensions.
